Installing Optimal Desktop

During installation, Optimal Desktop installer will ask you some standard questions on where to store your files; We recommend that you simply select the default values. At no point will you need to manually import or convert anything, and Optimal Desktop does not move or change the location of any file in any way. Optimal Desktop may also be easily uninstalled. 

Important update Notes

Download and run the setup program

• Backup your existing desktop file (default_desktop.oad) to make sure your data remains safe.
• Simply install the new version into your existing directory (C:\Program Files\Optimal Desktop)
• The new version will update your toolbar in case new commands are added to the update file.
